This is a truly stunning and exceptionally large Celestine crystal geode. A truly exceptional piece, this bowl shaped Celestine geode with a lovely draping affect as the crystal clusters tumble from the front of the bowl shape and down the front of the formation.

This is the largest Celestine geode we have come across and is a truly significant specimen, weighing over 20 kilograms (100,000 carats) and making a stunning decorative impact with it’s blue grey crystal clusters. This piece is roughly 65 million years old and was excavated circa 1973 at the Sakoany deposit in Madagascar. The piece has an excellent colour and several individual crystals measure 4cm or more in size.
