Late 19th Century Brass Table Lighter in the form of a Temple Lion Aquamanile
Antique brass aquamanile in the form of a temple lion. This charming piece has beautiful detail throughout with maker’s mark to back paw which is slightly raised but sits evenly, as pictured. The chain and cap which would originally have been attached at the ring on of the lion’s chest and the spout respectively are missing, but the gem-like cap to the head is intact.
